Everyone is super nice especially the people who came and fixed the stuff in our rooms, living rooms and kitchen. Absolutely love the gate made me feel more safe in Waco. I will say there were lots of bugs in the place. more

Buxton Hall

The people of Buxton hall follow quite hours, are talkative if you want to, the RAs are all super friendly and do their jobs well. overall the building is quite old, so the bathrooms are a bit scary and the walls are thin, but location and people are amazing. more

Cauthorn Hall

Cauthorn hall is in a great location in the middle of campus and it provides easy access to dining halls, the recreation center for exercising and playing sports, as well as class locations. However, I did't have the best experience with meeting the residents that lived on the same floor. more

Halsell Hall

Halsell is set up as an apartment almost. I moved in halfway through the school year with random roommates I had never met. I got extremely lucky and had the best time in the dorm and made a lot of lifelong friends. The rooms were spacious and the furniture was very well made. Every room came with a mini-fridge/microwave combo and it was very nice having your own space. There was also a mini fridge and microwave in the common area. Couches and tables were provided as well. Great experience overall! more

Sackett Hall

The biggest issue with Sackett Hall are the thin walls, but this is likely the case with many dorm rooms. It's hard to beat Sackett's location considering it's right next to key buildings (Linus Pauling, LINC, Austin) and very close to West dining hall. The rooms are nice and relatively spacious compared to some other dorms (especially the closets). more

It’s been good but the kitchens aren’t great and the windows aren’t well insulated so the dorm rooms are cold. The staff is super nice though and the location is awesome. I would recommend buying a small heater before moving in. more

Wilson Hall

There was a lot of partying and an almost constant smell of marijuana. Overall, the people living there were relatively safe, however many people would bring in guests who tried to get into other rooms and were overall intrusive. more

Shattuck Hall

Overall, overpriced. For many students living on-campus can be a fantastic experience. However, if not by majority, it high cost outweighs any benefit of living closer to your classrooms. I’d recommend being better instead of looking better and just stay away. more

Bloss Hall

Bloss hall is a transfer dorm, so when I chose it when I transferred. Somehow they put everyone who transferred on the same floor so it was really nice to be with people who had college experience and were prepared to work hard. more

Callahan

In every dorm hall there will obviously be flaws, but with Callahan theres a lot. As this dorm hall is one of the older ones, there are a lot of run down furniture which needs to be updated! Lastly, the bathrooms are co-gender and then every other floor has a specific gender bathroom which is nice, but is very inconvenient. more

Tebeau Hall

I absolutely love that the rooms are set up as a suite style. They are actually pretty nice and a good size. The suites fit six people and you all share one bathroom; I personally only have one other person in my suite so sharing the bathroom works perfectly fine. And there are single use bathrooms on every hall with showers if your personal bathroom is being used. I've been living here during covid, so it has been kind of difficult making friends in the hall; however, when you meet one person you tend to meet the rest of their suitemates as well which is super helpful. Everyone I have met has been incredibly nice and the staff is also great! Overall it is a great dorm to live in. more

It was overall decent considering that it was a dorm, I didn't mind living at the dorms. It allowed me to make good connections with my fellow classmates. The on-campus food was pretty good considering I followed a meal plan. more
