Gray College Dorm Reviews at Stony Brook

I enjoyed Gray college overall because it was recently renovated. I also love the location of it because it is very close to the east side of campus. I also like how it is open to upperclassmen as well. However, Gray is prone to flooding.

I love living as Gray as a continuing student. The building is newly renovated and clean. It is a great location on East Side; it is close to everything. The building is maintained in a proper manner. I would chose to live in this building again.

Gray College was a great experience. I was in that dorm my freshman year and it was a great introduction to college dorming. The bathrooms were public yet they were always clean, as the staff clean regularly. The dorms were Corridor style so only two people a room. The rooms were big enough to feel like you had space.

People here are very kind. Rules are also put in place so that Covid doesn't spread as easily. Masks are permitted in bathrooms and hallways. But don't expect an AC. It didn't get hot enough to warrant it though.
