Fowler Hall Dorm Reviews at Texas A&M

It was a good experience considering the price for the semester. The dorm opens to the outside, so there is a bit of noise. Additionally, the bathrooms are dated and do not look inviting. Staying here in a single is cheaper than other dorms with a roommate, so it was worth it.

I attended Texas A&M university and selected Fowler Hall for my first year on-campus experience. I would say it was great because of it's location, which is close to the cafeteria and close to northgate. It was a decent walk to the main buildings and it affortable for the price. I would recommend it to first time students at A&M that are lower income, since it is affortable and close to everything you need.

Fowler Hall is a balcony style hall built in 1964. It the cheapest suite style option, but I had a positive time here. The set up allows for some privacy, but not a lot which is perfectly fine for a freshman in college that doesn't no anyone in the town. The courtyard and walk ways always has familiar faces that eventually became my friends. There was also a volleyball court right next to our hall. If there was ever and issue with something breaking the maintenance team was quick to fix it and did it with a smile. The rooms was fairly sized and each person got their own desk provided. The bathrooms are shared between to rooms and is fairly sized as well.

Of course, it is a college dorm so they are not going to be the prettiest thing. I like that you can step outside and the view of the sunset is amazing. It is very close to the train however, so that's annoying.
