Hughes Hall is one of the oldest dorms on campus, and it was an experience. I was given the opportunity to live in a single room for one summer semester. I would be more likely to recommend a single room opposed to a double room, because the space is quaint. This dorm is a balcony style hall, which means the door is open to the outside. If you were to want to live in this dorm, I would advise you live on floor 2. This hall also has suite mates, which means you will be sharing a bathroom with one or two other people. The bathrooms are not the cleanest. The location of the dorm is far from most classroom buildings, so I would not recommend this dorm for someone who is handicap. If you are not picky, this might be a perfect dorm for you!
