Overall, I thought living in Hercules was great. I lived in a dorm room with two people in each room and I felt the dorm layout was great for two people living together. The only complaint I would have would be that the fire sprinkler in the bathroom was rusty. more

Hercules Community

It's a good dorm! Close to everything I need on campus. If anyone needs a dorm they should hope to get Hercules, I think it's the best in my opinion. Compared to other dorms, the staff are nicer and its a little more clean. more

Libra Community

Libra was a pretty quiet dorm. It was an older part of the building but I did not mind. They usually had events for the community that were always pretty fun. My RA was pretty cool she was always around if needed and not intrusive. more

Tower I

Tower 1 is the oldest Tower out of the four and it shows! It is not nearly as updated or well kept as the rest of the towers. It is full of mold, odd smells, and is barely cleaned. I witnessed a granola bar wrapper sit in the hallway for up to two weeks. While this tower is first to receive any inspections it is last on the list for maintenance to come and to be cleaned. more

Tower II

My experience has been wonderful. The staff is very helpful but maintenance lets themselves into the apartments without warning which is a bit worrisome. Other than that, there are always fun events and opportunities to meet people. more

Tower IV

Tower IV is definitely a step up from a traditional double dorm room with no kitchen or living space. It is very helpful to have these amenities, especially your first year of college like I did. The location is great but as with many dorms, cleanliness can be an issue. more

Nike Building 102

Nike Building 102 was a good dorm for an incoming freshmen but the positive comments stop there. The roommate selection process is not satisfactory, the carpets are disgusting, and there is no guarantee that you will be given housing in the following semester. more

Neptune Building 158

The RA’s are super cool. The water pressure isn’t the best but the water does get fairly warm. I highly suggest some kind of water filter or bottled waters. A mattress topper is a must. “Quiet hours” aren’t really followed, but you can’t hear what’s going on in the hallway from your rooms. more

I love it here! Whenever there is an issue, the maintenance/IT crews get to work efficiently. I never feel unsafe. The greatest threat I experience are the squirrels. I wish the apartment style buildings had a common room and were enclosed like the suite style, but it is so nice having a kitchen. more

Orange Hall

Flagler Hall

Libra Flagler Hall is quiet and smack dab in the middle of campus. The parking garage is a short walk away and the gym is right down the road. The RAs always try their best to create a sense of community. Due to the pandemic, I have a room to myself and have a suitemate as opposed to a roommate but the room is large enough for two. more

I served as a Resident Assistant in this community, and I can attest to the quality of staff, maintenance response time, and the community engagement. Towers II

I enjoyed towers II. It was definitely nice having my room although the building would have so much dust for no reason, and the elevators were either broken or so slow. The living room and kitchen were nice and I used them to make a lot of meals in the building. The water would get really hot and the water pressure was good. The fire alarm went off a couple of times a semester forcing us all out of the building which was frustrating but what can you do. The building is secure and you need a student ID of a student who lives there and his pin to get access to the building. The individual rooms lock as well. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear through them at times. Overall I would say for a college dorm, I had a great experience at Towers II. more

My experience at Oakridge so far has been superb. I just moved in last month, and the staff has been super helpful and patient informing us of all legal matters, financial actions, and any questions we had through the application and move-in process. The grounds were just painted and the apartments are in great condition. There is minimal noise from neighbors and groundskeepers outside of the weekly cleanings on the grounds. I have fellow church members who live here as well, and they would offer the same review. There are no major bug issues. If you have your apartment sprayed, there will be no bug issues. The maintenance is speedy and fantastic. The only downside is that parking is limited and a little small, but there are no other issues I can report. It is a great complex with friendly staff, it is located in a decent area, and the price is rather affordable for a college student. more
