Oak Ridge Hall Dorm Reviews at UW-Eau Claire

It was my first dorm living experience. I loved the decorations, the RA's, and meeting new people. It was easy to socialize and feel at home on campus. My favorite part of the dorm was the view out the window, and the sound of the laundry room, which was always comforting.

I had a good experience for the most part. It was a “typical” dorm room. Nothing fancy. I was a line for 1 semester which was difficult for me. I just wish the bathroom showers were updated. There was a lot of mold on the ceilings. Actually I feel the bathrooms in general could use an update. I had an overall good experience.

Oak Ridge Hall is a dorm hall for freshmen's but upper class men can also live here. It is on upper campus which mean you have to go up the hill, but 90% of the residence hall are on upper campus. It is so chill. But there this hall have quiet hours. This mean you can not make noise once it quiet hours ( quite hours week days are 10pm and weekends are 12am).

I like that Oakridge is not a super big dorm, it is relative medium-sized compared to the other dorms. It gives a more community experience with others in your dorm. Most of the staff are super nice and not too mean about rules, they just want you to be safe.

I had an amazing roommate. We were both randomly assigned, and we ended up becoming best friends. Although Oakridge Hall isn't the best hall in this University, I really did get the classic college freshman dorm experience.

I had a fine experience with living in Oakridge Hall. It's a bit of a walk to the lower campus but wasn't anything detrimental. It's located right by a parking lot so that's a plus. It was also pretty quiet at night so it's nice to get homework done.

Oak Ridge is the perfect dorm! I would recommend it to ALL incoming freshman. The janitor is the sweetest man alive and he always does such a great job at cleaning and making sure everything is perfect.
