Overall, I would give The Hill a 4/5 stars. I had a few negative experiences whenever it came to noise on the hall (depending on where your dorm is). I was closer to the entrance of the hall, so I heard every single time someone entered. Since there are hard walls and floors, there is nothing (unless you get a carpet) to help suppress sound. The cleanliness on the hall (cleaned by staff) was kept clean for the most part. The showers had some mold growing that should have been bleached. (A lot of the cleanliness outside of that really depends on if you live with messier people or not). The outside community areas were nice, but I did not use them much. I did love the community aspect of the Hill, with several activities, I always felt welcome to go to the community events (there was no hazing). My personal experiences with my RAs and RSs were very nice. Space in the dorms can be an issue due to rooming three to a room. This was not much of an issue as long as you were smart about positioning the furniture (look at upperclassmen dorms for ideas). The best part about The Hill was the position on campus. It is probably the most central dorm on campus with easy/close access to most buildings.
