LaFerla Hall

LaFerla is the newest building on campus, so the amenities and quality of the building are of course fairly good. However, as an English major, the location of the building is particularly difficult for me personally. Towers North

There are always people hanging out in the lobbies and making conversation in the elevators. Sometimes it gets a little loud because of the people in the lobbies, but most of the time everyone is pretty understanding of those around them. more

Towers South

It's not a good building. Maintenance likes to ignore it, people are loud and obnoxious, the resident assistants charge you for things you aren't responsible for. There's a lot of mold, people setting off the fire alarm and it's very unsafe in tornado weather. more

Towers West is a very convenient location for my classes. My classes are usually less than five minutes away. The staff is usually nice. The food in Towers Cafe is usually good and the Chartwells employees are nice. more

Merick Hall

The food at merick hall is pretty much non-existent. If you want some actually decent tasting food you would have to walk to the university center. That's my only issue with merick. Other than that I quite enjoyed living there. People who live in the dorms can get quite noisy at night but they do have after hours you can call and "quiet hours" that are posted. I had a room that overlooked the football stadium and games so it was nice to watch them from my room. However, Merick is really far from preety much every class you have to go to. more

Myers Hall

It is very nice having a bedroom to myself since it gives me anxiety sleeping in the same room as someone else. Everyone has been pretty quiet during after hours and the people here are very friendly. However, since this is an old building, there's a few problems such as the small scuffs on the floor and counters and the air conditioner does not cool the room very well. I do like where the location of the hall is because it is near everything and I also love having my own bathroom. more

I found my best friends from this dorm by pure accident. I was supposed to live somewhere else, although that fell through. So I found them instead. I wouldn’t ever trade my experience with them or the dorm. more

Dobbins River Campus Center

Dobbins is very convenient for those who are theatre, music, art majors and have classes at the River Campus. The dorm building is modern and very accessible. I have lived here for the past three years. more

Dobbins Center

The suites and rooms are very spacious and fun to live in, especially with it being a fine arts living community. The few downsides are the severe amount of noise that you can hear from the third floor when living on the second floor. It’s difficult to sleep. There have also been some safety issues. more

Tower West

I absolutely love staying at Tower West. The shuttle comes right in front of the building, my classes are within walking distance and it's really affordable. I love that all four towers are connected so I'm able to visit my friends in the other towers without leaving the building. more
